Reddit will be rewriting all of their existing code to improve the website’s user interface. Additionally, Reddit will be looking to add video features to the website which could open the door to video advertising.

In just one year, Instagram Stories have surpassed their SnapChat equivalents in daily users. The breaking news caused Snap Inc. shares to drop to an all-time low of $12.67.
A reserved wave of iPod Classics hit the market
For $350, consumers can once again purchase the 2007 iPod Classic. This revival shows a definite niche in the market for tech users who do not want all-in-one devices, instead opting for specialized, single use products.
Pepsi was the first brand to buy into Twitter’s promoted stickers
Twitter launched a new sponsored Stickers ad format. Similar to the use of hashtags, the promotion has companies sponsoring stickers that are then used in tweets and posted photos. This comes soon after Twitter removed pictures from contributing to tweet character counts.
Pinterest introduced its version of Display Marketing
Pinterest stepped up its ad game by introducing a take on Google’s Display Marketing platform, allowing companies to bid on impressions. They also introduced a feature allowing brands to limit the number of ads shown per day on behalf of their company.
WhatsApp revealed they will be sharing user information for targeted advertising
As of August 25th, WhatsApp’s privacy policy allows the app to share user’s personal information with Facebook so businesses can send direct messages to potential consumers
A new app went public to challenge Apple iCloud, Dropbox, and other cloud storage applications
Upthere, founded by former Apple developers, are preparing to release Upthere Home. It differs from other cloud applications by cutting out the middle-man and offering more direct access to your cloud storage.
Dropbox introduces a new app to compete with Google Docs
Dropbox announced its plans for Paper, a collaborative online workspace one year ago. However, they just got around to releasing the Paper beta app for iOS and Android. The release also came with updates to the current Dropbox desktop app.
